CO Springs Meetup!
IMPORTANT: tour of the Olympic Training Center is happening at 10:00 AM. I've moved the time/location to reflect the "meetup" portion taking place at a restaurant.
Hey, Colorado crunchers! @TheWatchStylist is competing in the Olympic Team Qualifications the weekend of December 9th and has suggested a WC meetup!
Jober's competition is at 7:30 AM, and he will be free later that morning. @Gasanche and I are planning to do a tour of the facility ($15/$13 military) at 10:00 AM. Here is the link if you'd like to visit as well. No RSVPs are required for groups under ten.
After the tour wraps up around 11:00 AM, we will drive to The Exchange (2.5 miles/8 minutes away) and grab food and drinks. They have both breakfast and lunch options. If you do not want to tour the OTC, please feel free to meet us directly at The Exchange.

Just popping in to give an update. I'm still waiting for my official squadding and start tines so I know when I'm shooting. Will let everyone know once I get them.
Unfortunately, I'll be shooting early on Saturday at 7:30am. My match will be done by 9am. But that means I can meet everyone and not have to worry about my competition. @minutemeg will have additional details soon.
Hello everyone. If you live closer or in the Springs and want to see some of Olympic Trials in the morning you're free to do so. USA Shooting headquarters will be open for spectators, just tell the folks at the gate you're here for USA Shooting Winter Airgun/Olympic Trials.
After lunch I will be going back to the OTC to see friends that are competing. You're welcome to head back to the OTC as well and I can introduce you to my friends that are current and former Olympians. A few of them have won medals at the Olympics as well.
Swatch display is still in the OTC gift shop, just red, white, or blue watches. Nothing specific to the USOPC or teams. 😕
Oh, and the t-shirts for shooting are sold out. 😕😕
FYI - Tours go every hour from 0900-1600. Suggest arriving a few minutes before 1000 to join that tour.

USA Shooting has their own store inside the shooting range building. Plenty of shirts there.
Hello everyone I have arrived to Colorado Springs. Looking forward to seeing everyone. Again if you have time and live closer to the Springs, USA Shooting headquarters will be open and you can come and watch the competition.
Best to enter through the Union Street entrance, tell the folks at the gate you're going to Shooting Olympic Trials, and go left to the parking area.
If you come around 9ish on Saturday, you can meet me directly at the Shooting Center. Then I'll walk you over to the visitor center to sign up for the guided tour.
Anyone driving into the Springs, please travel safely.
