Gooday Crunchers! Today's watch is a 1960s PARA model Neptun, with a 17 jewels manual wind movement. For my most attentive followers, as you may have noticed, the watch now features a new acrylic crystal. The PARA brand (Paul Raff GmbH & Co. KG) was a part of the exclusive German cooperative known as Parat, established in 1949. Parat provided sales support to the participating companies while maintaining their economic independence. Members of this cooperative included Arctos, Berg, OSCO, Stowa, and PARA. Have a fantastic Wednesday!

What an amazing dial 😍

That’s a beauty. That dial design is so simple but so striking 👌

I remember finding it upon arrival at the flea market. I walked to the first stand, and there it was. At first glance, it appeared somewhat unusual, reminding me of the Soviet "radio room" design, but this design is actually older. Design rule number one is, "less is more"🍻
