How much is this watch worth?

I found this one on Catawiki and I quite like it but I have no clue about the actual value.

It’s an Omega pre bond. These are great. Maybe £600.

I would ask for better pictures. Based on those poor quality shots it looks pretty beat up.

Beware sales posts with poor quality photos. Also beware of poor descriptions. Digital watch?? Really?

My advise-walk away.

The final bid on this watch was €700. Its probably a fair auction price considering you have 9% auction fees to factor in.

As been said condition is key. If the pictures aren't clear enough to determine that let the listing pass, there will be others. In this case €700,- is in my opinion fair albeit on the upper end. (Mostly brand recognition driving the price up). Also is there a box, papers? You could take a look at similar watches on chrono24 and set that as your max price. Or just go for a reputable seller like maxwatches.eu

Set a maximum amount for yourself and never be goaded into a bidding war. Do keep in mind that your bid will not include shipping and the 9% fee. I normally set around €100,- for that. So what might look like a bargain quickly becomes the fair maximum price you've initially set for yourself. And if the seller is outside Europe there will be additional duties, taxes and courier charges to be paid as well. Auctions make their money the same way casino's do and exploit the same human tendencies, just be aware of that.
