My personal grail

Although it hasn't arrived yet, I was finally able to capture a Junghans Max Bill Mega Solar radio-controlled timepiece. I've been dreaming about this for years.

Awesome.

Very cool ! Still in production or did you have to find a second hand one ? I don’t think I’ve seen this before

·

High style compared to the original Megas that came out in the 80's & 90's.

Congrats!

Seen one of those at the store today. I liked how the seconds hand was ticking twice per second. And it hit the markers perfectly 😍

The Junghans website shows this as still in production but I snagged this one previously owned.

Not sure why this movement doesn't get more attention. It's not only radio controlled, it's HAQ. Even without a signal it loses less than a second a month. And you can give it a signal from your cell phone. Jumping minute, perpetual calendar and in-house as well.

That’s awesome 🤩. Send us follow up picks when your able to wrist the bad boy. The watch looks super cool.

·

It's an amazing movement. I love to watch the hands whirl around when it comes out of hibernation and resets itself. The jumping minute hand is really cool too.

Nice to hear from you.

That's the Titanium one, right? Will be trying one on soon as well, think it's an awesome watch. The movement seems to be actually made by Junghans as well, so you'll have an original Junghans in-house movement 👍🏼
