Very cool! It's interesting to know that the design hasn't changed much over the years.
You can check the serial on an online calculator and it should give you the year of manufacture.
Serial starts with 9 so this is a watch made in a year ending with 9. Case back battery change indicator shows the 1st change in ‘93Q1 so I’m pretty certain myself that this is my birth year watch.
