Totally agree, it's such an underrated watch. The hardened steel finishing makes it a true tool watch but the beautifully finished dial and indices give it that extra presence.

You can check the serial on an online calculator and it should give you the year of manufacture.

Don't forget, quartz is affected by temperature too. So any temperature variations over the time period would have affected the results.
