I haven't watched the video yet but I did a fff mod and it fought me every step of the way.  I bought a really nice insert but the gs hypo didn't cure right so it fell out, luckily I found it and got it taped in.  I couldn't get a sapphire to seat correctly and after several wrong gaskets, I finally got the right one from Crystal times.  ETC ETC.  It was a great looking watch when it was finally done though.  I'll have to check the video out tonight after work.

I've yet to strike up enough courage to mess with hands. And after watching this video, I am sure I could do far worse than he.

Setting hands isn't too bad, I have done it a couple of times. I have terrible vision so that doesnt help but a good loupe will help.
