It's so weird, but there are certain watches that just scream "enthusiast," and when you see it, it's like coming across a fellow Lizard Person from the One World Government - you catch a knowing glance, and then let down your person illusion projector to show one another your true natures.
Neighbor came over for dinner last night, and he was wearing a Vostok. I immediately liked him more by exactly 247%. I mean, dude is wearing a $50 watch! Meanwhile, if he were sporting a hyped brand / model, one that cost $20k, I suspect I would have downgraded him in my mind, and that would be last time his kids would be invited over to play with mine. 😂
