Modding A Gevril 47000 Vaughn Automatic Pilot Chronograph
I'm thinking about modding a Gevril 47000 featuring an SW500 movement:
- Match the day and date wheels to the dial (white characters on a black background).
- Color or change the chrono pusher as well as the second, minute, and hour hands to red.
- Sterilize the dial, eliminating the text above and below the day/date complication.
Should I do this myself? Or can someone recommend a shop that can do this at a reasonable price?

Amassed over one hundred watches during the pandemic. Now slowly weaning off of the ones that I don't absolutely love.

Those all sound like good mods and I think they’d result in a better looking watch. I like projects and have a low fear level concerning making mistakes, so this is the kind of thing I’d do myself. If that’s not your personality, I would have somebody do it for you. Unfortunately, I don’t know who to steer you towards. Good luck.
