🥺Sending him off for a medical!

Had to send my #zenith defy classic off for a check and possible repair. He’s been consistently running 1-2 mins fast every day, even after winding fully. He’s barely even a year old and hope the good guys at Zenith can fix him up. 🙏

Thanks man, appreciate your kind word!

Btw Zenith told me it’s free and no charge as it’s still under warrant. They said if it was a straightforward issue then it’ll take 2-3 months, if it were complicated then it could take up to 5 months 😕

Considering to get a Zenith?

Watches running fast are usually easier to fix than a slow running piece.  Sounds like it could be a simple issue of magnetization of the hairspring.  Probably a 30 second fix over a demagnetizer.

If it makes you feel any better, I can commiserate. My Black Bay GMT, acquired February 2022, just had to go back on 11/3 because it started running slow, between -9/-12 sec/day, 3-4X out of its COSC certified specs.  I likely won’t see it again until February, 2023.

Ugh, what a pain. Hopefully it’s back soon. LVMH usually does a decent job with service but I agree on the timeframe. Hopefully the heart grows fonder while he’s gone.

Love to hear about the results
