Agreed! I think he took it to a watchmaker who told him the watch was a lost cause, hence him throwing it away.
My mum also has a Seiko Kinetic which stopped working, but my friend got it working last year, also buying a new capacitor. Really interesting stuff!
I’m indifferent because I haven’t even thought about it before.
Give me a few more years when I can maybe afford one 😅
