Aventi watches

Just curious if anyone knows anything about Aventi watches. Especially the wraith A15. I just got an allocation spot, but before I put down my deposit I’m trying to do a lot more research on it. I know there’s a few famous people like Kevin O’Leary who wears one. I know they use Swiss tourbillions now going forward

I haven’t heard of these. Do you have a link to the reference number you’re interested in?

I’m thinking this company is the next Richard Mille. This watch sold at Sotheby’s for triple the msrp. I had to get basically interviewed for an allowacation. I understand they are very very picky who they sell a watch to. I hear they turn people down all the time

TGE put out some content about them a few years ago, name rang a bell for me, once I saw the sapphire case I remembered! https://youtu.be/yBpnAR1fbEw?si=nncb0Ms3OyY00twz

Thank you for the post. I think these two models weee their first with Chinese movements, now it’s completely Swiss from everything I read and watch

Wow, $25k+ is quite the jump from their original sapphire case model! I get they went all Swiss and I'm sure you won't get a sapphire case for under 6 figures from a major brand, but that is a tough pill to swallow.

I was one of the few who helped them promote the A11 Titanium and got my pick of a colorway. Solid piece but was very unwearable for my 7 inch wrist. I ended up selling it for 3x retail and just recently found out the new owner dropped it and the movement broke.

Aventi said they would replace the movement for $800,so I guess still worth it.

I didn’t put down my deposit yet. I have until the 29th to do it. If you don’t mine me asking how much was your piece that you sold for 3x the msrp

I picked one up their debut year, a burnt titanium. Had a run of like less than 50, they couldn’t perfect the burning process so they discontinued it; never made an official release.

It’s cool, but a very loud watch and stands out on smaller wrist. It wraps well, but it really is in your face. I’ve owned it for about 3 yrs, probably wore it maybe 10 times. It draws a lot of attention due to its size.

That’s wild, 8k??? The watch cost no where near that price. They are tripping.

And where did you sell it 3x the price so I can sell mine 😂😂

I just don’t know if it’s a $26k piece the wraith. I like, but it’s a bit loud for me. The watch is very cool, and I do think you will never really see one in the wild. I’m also thinking it’s a piece to hold onto, because it will go up in value like RM watches, but I could be wrong

The next RM? Unlikely. I would say they’re going the Rolex route of trying to do smart marketing. They’re looking to get on celebrity wrist, and for long time, getting on you tube views.

They need to make a smaller watch. Once that happens, I think they’ll see a larger market.

The interviewing, in my opinion is also marketing scheme to seem to be exclusive.

Now don’t get me wrong, they’re some good guys but I would suggest trying a watch on because it’s not everyone’s cup of tea.

In my opinion, it’s not a $26k watch. And it is really loud. I don’t know if it will go up in value, but grey dealers are buying at way below retail. Not a lot of demand for these watches.

RM started out somewhere, but his first watch sold for $135k 24 years ago or so. The interview process does make it feel exclusive. So far I’ve only seen big head narcissist Kevin o’Leary and Michael the producer with Aventi. Roman Scharf from luxury bazaar interviewed the owner from Aventi, but other then that there’s not much out there. Oh and the wraith a15 sold at Sotheby’s for 3x’s the msrp

The titanium models were all going for $2k, the clear sapphire was $5k and the blue sapphire was either $8 or $10k.

I did a lot of research before buying one.

Yes that I know and they were Chinese tourbillions at that time or those models, not they are all Swiss

3x at an auction? Do we know who the buyer was? If you watched their earlier instagram live interviews, they talked about buying their watches back to help drive up prices on the secondary market.

Your right, no one knows who the buyer is. I didn’t even think of that

I just read up on the auction. Again, not saying they bought it, but the watch was recently released at the time of the auction, may have been a sample. I can see it being purchased internally to help drive demand.

It very well could be. Maybe I will just stick to Rolex. I just bought a new blue dial ss on an oyster bracelet skydweller and I have a brand new G-shock MRG black titanium square coming tomorrow. At least I got a nice discount on the MRG and I if hate it I could return it.

Oh man, I wanted that burnt titanium!

Also, 8 hundred bro, not thousand 😂

Sold it to a local collector in the height of the pandemic 😎

They are very hyped watches with all the celeb & YouTuber love. Definitely not an everyday watch but a total conversation starter. I'd put my $26k elsewhere...

I think I will, I appreciate all the feedback.
