New Sinn 556 colorful and limited watches

Hi everyone!! I would love to read your thoughts and opinions regarding this collection. Personally, I love them and I’m really thinking on getting the yellow or the red (the turquoise and green ones are sold out).

Have a great weekend you all!

From the picture they look like Rolex made them by the color. Still a quality brand and the Tiffany is getting old. That color died in the 70s.

·

I ordered the red dial last week. I love my 556a-rs,  so I thought why not try one of these with a little summer color fun.

·

I really like them.

Not very versatile, but I have to say that I like the yellow one a lot. The dial texture is unique here too, which is fun to see. Overall, they are cool watches, but I can’t justify spending this much on a colorful watch I wouldn’t wear often. Maybe someday my financial calculus will change though!

I only really like the blue and yellow dials. I do wonder if Sinn, and other brands (Omega) have done these colour dials to try and get the overflow of rolex customers unable to get the OPs? I am interested to see how long this colour dial trend goes on for. But overall I do like colour dials, adds some fun to these watches. But I've never been drawn to the Sinn brand tbh.

I like them, and I don’t buy that Rolex invented color.

I also love the yellow one and I’m really thinking in getting one. About your question, for sure brands are doing these colorful collection in order to get customers that for sure couldn’t  get their hands on a Rolex OP.

although i love sinn this isnt really my cup of tea, i prefer versatile colour in the dial. but im a very boring guy so thats just me lol

Well if you do get one please share some pictures cus the yellow is nice 💛. One thing I didn't mention was the strap. I do like the strap a lot, I also like the case I think it will sit well on the wrist.

Yeah I do think it's a mix, because there is clearly a market for colour dials, which Rolex deffo helped bring to the main stream, but I agree with AccuTron they didn't invent colour dials.

They just copied rolex and made it limited.Would not buy it because of that.It wouldve been okay if they did something similar but copy and paste....

·

Really like them.

But its not worth the price increase just for a bit of color. A normal Sinn 556 on the bracelet is still better value imo.

·

Love these! Nice change from the black and white dials.

·

I like the yellow myself... great holiday watch IMO

·

checked them out in Geneva last week. They are gorgeous. The dials have metallic flecks in the making them sparkle like the green 103 and 104 models. The yellow was my favorite. It's deep mustard color, very earthy.

Amazing!! I just took a last minute decision and ordered the yellow one, can’t wait to receive it!!

I ordered the blue one myself. Sinn did release a colour collection back in the early 2000's so this is not new for the company. The price was only $100 AUD more than the standard 556iRS on a leather strap that I purchased about 6 months ago, so I don't know where some people got their prices from, the blue one cost me $1990 AUD, which in my opinion was a fair price for a Sinn.

As with all watches and collecting it's subjective as to what you purchase, I buy things I like and don't base my purchases on other peoples opinions, neither should you!

Congrats on the purchase!! You will have to share some photos and a quick review when you get it.

I ended up ordering the yellow one, didn‘t have the opportunity to get the blue one (they were gone fast!). Now let’s hope time of shipping will be less than the 12 weeks mentioned in the Sinn webpage.

I just wish they had one salmon dial, that would scratch my sinn- itch
