However, since you have a lower budget, either look online for one used, or you could (possibly unpopular suggestion here) go on AliExpress and find a number of possible options given your budget.

Start with Casio - GA2100 - The CasiOak basically - It will be your foundational watch & will help you for everything - waterproof, worldtime, active lifestyle, fun cool looking & practically the best investment for 150-160 dollars - Something like this - Ofcourse you can opt for this same all-rounder color or more traditional black case too
Skeleton watches are cool. They can run well below your budget to 500 times above it. The ones below your budget are questionable in quality.
My recommendation would be to look at older Seiko 5 watches with a 7S26 movement. You can find all kind of different styles on eBay within your budget, a lot of them still new. You can even find some on Amazon.

What amount of money do you consider budget? Budget Skeleton Mechanical to me is a Puljot though. They have some nice offerings.
