unmoving sub-dials?

Two things. This is a watch recently given to me. I am new to watches and am not sure why their are smaller dials that look like they would show the date or preform another function, but they don't move. I have tried to use the pins located above and bellow the crown, but they appear to just be for show as they dont pull, turn, push, or move in any way. Are these just for show or am I just missing something? also, I would like to replace the band to a stainless steel band. Do you guys know the best online service to order a good kit that comes with everything needed to change to a higher quality band? I know aliexpress has super cheap kits but their prodects dont always come in the best quality.

Thanks

You got a really cheap watch with fake subdials and pushers. It probably cost the other person like $20 if that. Don't pour any more money into this watch.

Also, any Aliexpress watch with a nh35a movement in it will be 100x this watch in terms of construction and materials

The band/bracelet you get would probably be worth more than the watch.

You'd be better off putting the money towards a better watch-

But if you like it & it's got sentimental value then wear it with pride. 👍🏻

It probably looks good in a stainless steel bracelet, go for it. For my taste I am not a fan when a dial has functions that do not work & are just for show.
