Jaquet-Droz Love
Hard to explain why, but I think this Astrale Eclipse might be the most be beautiful watch I've ever seen, and my potential grail-piece. I don't hear much about Jaquet-Droz, thoughts on this piece and the brand in general?

Beautiful. JD is another one of those brands that doesn't get the recognition it deserves.

It's beautiful but my old eyes wish the indices were bigger so I could tell the time. It's a better calendar than a watch! 😄
JD is a great brand that I feel doesn't get the attention it deserves. Sad that they make most of their watches in large diameters, like 43mm.
However, there is an awesome "off centered seconde" in 39mm which is amazing.
I highly recommend to look at these pieces too.
