Omega Seamaster Diver 300
I am looking to buy a new Omega Seamaster Diver 300 for our son as a gift for his promotion to Major in the military. I would appreciate any suggestions as to where would be the best place to purchase this watch.

It depends where you are. UK, US or Europe?
Start with the Official Omega website to find an Authorized Distributor and go and have a look at the watch. Then you need to work out which one in terms of model, dial colour (white, black, grey or blue) and strap; rubber, metal, leather. I know, too much choice: however, being ex-mil myself you cannot go wrong with black dial on a metal strap IMHO. He can always buy an extra NATO strap or leather afterwards.
Sometimes they might have a deal on, so you might get a discount on a 2021 model as prices will go up in 2022 (they normally do). Current prices are £4,630 retail (metal bracelet).
Search Chrono24 to find what prices are like on the 'grey market'. I found a new one for (in the UK), for £4,335 (plus P&P). I found another on Chronext for £4,200 and another on watches.co.uk for £3,995; so you can see by hunting around you can save quite a bit of money and still get a new watch with a full warranty.

Congratulations on the promotion! I'll have to second Chrono24. 9 times out of 10 I have found cheaper prices there than anywhere else.
