My Dad used to wear a Date Just, and tried to share his love of watches. He gifted me a Favre-Leuba when I turned 16. I didn't get what it was. He got me a Seamaster Quartz when I graduated high school. I still didn't get it. Something awoke inside me in the spring of 2023 when I got a Fossil smartwatch. I've now gone down the rabbit hole..........at last count, my watch collection is 8+, with some already for sale/sold to make room for more.

Thanks! My Dad gifted me one with a white dial when I turned 16. I wasn't interested in watches at that time in my life, and ended up trashing it. Bought this about a year ago when I started collecting, to remind me of him and his influence 😎
I was wondering if the green dial would clash with the red strap, but you're right, it makes thr second hand POP
