My old friend, who made a class-win in the ‘87 Paris Dakar contacted me for watch repair advise. It was the same watch that I recently retrieved from repair & OH, an Orfina Porsche Design Chronograph 1, possibly an award for his class victory with his Toyota Landcruiser. A happy coincidence! I recommended him Isogimi Watch Ltd. , who did a great job with my Orfina Porsche Design, which I posted about.
edit) forgot to mention his other watch that needs repair. a Hamilton Khaki Conservation limited.
