Would you trade a Speedmaster in for a Seamaster 300 (233.30.41.21.01.001) if there is a good financial compensation?

No. If I was offered the Seamaster and had the Speedmaster than that would be because I want the Speedmaster. If I wanted the Seamaster instead I would have bought that to begin with. The price difference isn't significant enough to compromise in my opinion. If you spend thousands you might as well spend it on the thing you actually want.

But that is me. If for some reason you want a Seamaster but ended up with a Speedmaster then do the trade 😅

maybe i described it in the wrong way. I love the Speedmaster and it would be hard to let it go. But sometimes life situations change. Nevermind…

I guess it depends on which you like more and what feature is more important, water resistance or chronograph
