It turns out I need a bit of colour to add visual interest.
I used to own a GS SBGX259 (pure white dial). Beautiful watch, great size, 100m water resistance. But I sold it as i think it lacked something when I looked at it. Then made the classic rebuy error, this time the SBGX059 with the more balanced double logo, or so I thought. I ended up selling that too.
Now have replaced that with a Nomos Metro Gangreserve with its touches of mint and red and I love it.
I personally love a good black/white/grey dial. It’s just so versatile and legible in most cases. I do enjoy color from time to time, but monochromatic if I had to choose an option.
Splash of color depends on the dial design and type of watch. Studio Underdog is a good example of adding fitting color with their chronographs. Blued steel hands are also a good touch on white dials.
Colored seconds hand is another good example of adding color to a monochrome dial...

Depends on the circumstances.. seeing clients today.. about as monochrome as you can get.. lol. it works for me today
