Harvey Dent in the house
My Harvey Dent arrived today! I’m officially calling the Vario Versa Reversible Dual Time, Harvey Dent because of its obvious feature.
Anyway, the Batik pouch wrapped Harvey Dent came in a zippered clam shell case. Apart from the regular Warranty card (in plastic) and a Vario microfiber cloth, they also gave an additional Epsom leather strap.
The Harvey Dent I picked has a gunmetal grey dial and a white enamel dial and the black leather strap comes with a butterfly clasp. Okay so Harvey Dent is pretty well dressed but what about that reversible feature I hear you asking.
The truth is, its really two Ronda driven watches, each with its own movement, dial and crown fused together on their backs with a pivot at 3 and 9.. It’s two of everything except for the pivot frame and strap (and price). The flip action is very smooth with just the right tension to hold it flat in the case frame and on the wrist.
Do not compare this to the Reverso. It is really two watches-in-one watch essentially. A first of it’s kind I believe and the real reason I wanted it.
So there you have it here in #nwa . I guess I will be posting this up in #WRUW(tomorrow) and will post it for quite awhile since I actually have two new watches.
Oh, I showed Harvey Dent to the missus. She doesn’t really like it, and she was not two-faced in telling me so. Boo Hoo.
