Illuminator wins. I've never held the W-86, but that shade of green isn't my thing. The other one, though: I bought it to see if I could bear a digital.
In winter months, I wear it more than my G-shock.
The one thing what goes for the F-91 are all the colour options.

It's true, I don't think there is any color left to present for the F91W, or...maybe yes?
The Casio ILLUMINATOR is very good, in the electroluminescent models even more so, in the w86 it is simply great, the module is very complete and very precise, it also offers 50M water resistance.
