its just a cheap watch if you need the time. People gotta eat there too. I think they do a good job of restoring those old things. They will not get past the purists but they work.
Yep it's has a new case, repainted dial and probably a basic manual movement (might be a Swiss one,might). I bought a sandoz n fils ages ago, same thing. But it's an attractive little watch,it works ,I knew it wasn't all genuine and for the price I paid £19.99 delivered, can't complain. As long as you know its not a genuine Swiss made vintage watch, it works and it will be cheap one of these might be a fun addition to the collection as an occasional wear. And it gives somebody an income in a very poor part of the world.

I knew Favre Leuba does have Swiss origins, but I was wary. I may go with HMT. At least, it's supposed to come from Mumbai.
