Nice! Uncle Seiko GL831 strap?

Yes it is great, quite stiff but better than my initial impression. I may get more, meanwhile I am waiting for a couple of waffle ones from watchbandit. Green and a black one. I assume the quick release thinner spring bars are still okay to use with the seiko, doesn't need to be the fatboy ones?

Try the hot water trick if you find it too stiff, it helps to break it in a bit. I've done this on my Uncle Seiko and Citizen straps before. You may have to do it a couple of times.

The tips of the spring bars on the new straps will probably be smaller than the Seiko fat boy bars. If you find that they move too much or rattle around in the lug holes, you could try to work the original Seiko bars into the end of the strap, possibly after heating up the strap with the water trick. I've even used a little WD-40 before, with success. Your other option would be to find some skinny bars with fat tips. I've bought some on eBay before that are 1.8mm (as opposed to the 2.5mm fat boys), with 1.1 mm tips.
