Gymnastics tournament for my daughter today. I've got all the snacks for the whole fambam and Snoopy for the long day in a very sporty environment.

I feel like a coach today ๐Ÿ˜„

Good morning Alex. I feel your pain. Both of mine played tennis for ever. Both got Division I scholarships. All that time and money on travel etc. Well enjoy the day. Iโ€™m sure she will make you proud.

Thanks Fred! Tell me about it, I feel like a caddie hahaha. But in a very good way. It's these memories that count! She did make us proud ๐Ÿ…

Happy she was successful. Success is judged differently depending on the stage of competition. Without getting into specifics (national rankings required tournaments etc ) I can say that the success came from spending quality time with both of them. We developed bonds that are strong and loving because of the shared experiences. So would I do it all again? Yes without doubt. I wish you the best.

You said it well. Yes, she's quite new, only a year and a half into serious competition. And she's steadily climbing. We don't force her. We encourage her to have as much fun and make sure that if she wants to be more serious about it, we are there for her. It's true the success is being able to spend time, imparting some values and making sure she (and my 2 other kids) know they have a support system no matter what they choose to do. ๐Ÿ™Œ
