Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I'm not a collector, I just have several watches.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
A Timex that was a Christmas present from my grandparents while I was at secondary school. It was mechanical, had a black dial and a plastic rotating bezel.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
No.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Take your time, don't rush. Work out what you really like before spending any money, and never spend money you can't afford.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Rolex, Omega, Longines, Christopher Ward, Baltany.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
Anything by George Daniels or Roger Smith. A grail has to be unobtainable otherwise it isn't really a grail.
