My Dad gave me a bizarre clear plastic strap and transparent green promotional watch he'd been given by a supplier at work. I was fascinated by it, then I started to be gifted children's watches for school the highlight being a timex expedition with the light up face. I was bought a Gshock Mudman by my mum when I got into trail running and mountain biking as a teenager. Then I got a really funky swatch as an art student. The face was an Iris.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Fears, Seiko, Citizen, Elliot Brown
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I don't know, I'm at the stage of life where I don't have much in the way of disposable income. However I do really like dress watches, if one day the work pays off then I could see myself getting a omega dress style watch, my father has one which is beautiful, but then he has always had impeccable taste. I also love Japanese watch designs.
