The zulu time is a fantastic watch, with a really nice cohesive desig, nicely executed and finished.
The hydroconquest gmt on the other hand is all over the place, I cannot get over the use of so many different shapes for no apparent reason, it's like a kids 'learn your shapes' toy

It's a terrible design dial, with a submariner homage case
I have been shopping for a new ceramic case watch, one of the possibilities happens to be a GMT watch launched by Breitling, another is an Omega PO iteration so I have investigated other brands with GMT complication as well but not in ceramic cases. One of the regular commenters/ contributors on a Fratello Talks podcast named the HydroConquest gmt watch as one of his personal best watches of 23, made remarks explaining his preference over the Zulu time from the same company. When shopping for even a mass produced object as a mechanical watch which potentially you will meet in the wild, frequently best to decide entirely on your own if you truly wish to be pleased with your choice, imo.
I Have a blue Zulu Time. I'm rather new into collecting luxury watches but I genuinely don't know a better watch to spend $3k on.. never seen a Hydroconquest in real life but I assume it would be hard pressed to compete.

Makes more sense when you know the history of what they’re referencing :)
