Break out the bell bottoms

With my recent purchase of an Armitron Griffy I have gone into full geek mode. I'm old enough to remember when these watches weren't geeky at all, they were actually pretty cool. A sale at Amazon (on the gold model) pushed me over the edge. Feel free to add your own geeky watch to this thread.

Have considered a Griffy but know I won't ever wear it. Great watch though.

I remember when my Dad was given a LED gold watch by his employer, IBM, in the early 70s. Wish I had it now.

Closest I own to geek watch at this point in time. Sits in my watch box except for wearing while doing yard work. But I use it to set time on my daily watch when I change watches.

Oh, man this stuff is fun. I don't know is this qualifies, but what the heck.

If it's a watch, it counts.

I think Arnold Skaaland said that just before he got the snot kicked out of him for the 1,128th time.

Hey, Arnold was "The Golden Boy."

For the life of me, I can't figure out why.

Wow! Flashback territory, indeed. I recall the early digitals with LED displays. Seemed so cool, until you realized you needed two hands to check the time. Then LCDs came along and we were even more impressed.

And yet, now I'm tempted to get one of these...
