Nivada HUNT
Ever since I discovered this datomaster vintage model, I've been absolutely obsessed. Worst part is the mecaquartz reissue has been sold out for a while 😬and although I was able to find an example of the mechanical version, it was way out of my budget. One day!!!

I completely agree. My gateway into Nivada Grenchen was the vintage grey dial Datomaster too. It is such a beautiful watch and nearly impossible to find. Well, at anywhere near an affordable price anyway. I reserved the grey dial re-edition last year and then cancelled the order prior to launch to save some funds. I sort of regret it but it was the right decision at the time.
That led to basically being obsessed with all Nivada Grenchen releases. At the recent Windup Watch Fair in SF, I made a bee-line straight to their stand and met Guillaume, head of Nivada Grenchen, who is a super nice guy. He is doing amazing things with the brand, in my opinion.

What an experience! Unfortunately I haven't been to any watch events at all, but would love to. Hopefully we'll find our datomasters!😂
I just ordered their Super Antarctic Spider. The Forstner bracelet option they have cost $200 extra for a total of $950. I ordered it with a leather strap for $750 and ordered the Forstner bracelet for $130 directly from Forstner save a couple of bucks.

The Super Antarctic Spider is awesome. It really popped when I saw it in person for the first time at Windup in SF. Congrats on the acquisition!
That's a beauty. I love my 70s Nivada Grenchen. It doesn't have a model name but is very similar to the Antarctic Sea range.

I still have it and was all ready to sell but then put it on a black leather rally strap and it got a stay of execution. Will let you know if that changes.
