Hello!

Hello all,

New watch collector from London here.

Got started properly on buying my first 'adult' watch that isn't a smart watch about 6 months ago. Then got stuck in a YouTube rabbit hole watching things like watch restorations/servicing.

Since then, I have collected several brands such as Breitling, Seiko, Bulova, and Ingersoll.

Mostly budget end watches, and one 'Mumbai special' off eBay which I got for under £20 to practice servicing/taking apart mechanical watches.

Sounds fun! Do document your journey of starting to take apart that watch

For the comical value? 😂😂

welcome to the group. I love that you bought a watch to take apart. That’s great. I’m not sure how many people get into that aspect of watches. Good luck with your future collecting and learnings.

thank you! I’ve been taking stuff apart since I was little and find it therapeutic 😂 it’s if it goes back together or not that counts!
