Hello WC gang,
I have a Longines Master Collection PR that looks great and keeps great time, but lately I’ve noticed something that is wrong with the watch. When I’m not wearing the watch and storing it dial up, the watch stops once or twice a day. It appears as though the second hand gets stuck (?) behind the other hands and can’t move even though the watch has power. When I give the watch a firm tap, it starts moving again.
Does anyone have an idea of what’s wrong? Has this ever happened to you? Can a local watchmaker fix it, or do I need to get it serviced at Longines?
Thanks in advance!

If it still has warranty get it serviced by Longines if not your local watchmaker should be able to asses the problem. Good luck…

Have you checked how well the watch is keeping time when you are wearing it. Sorry to say it sounds like a malfunction and probably best to send it in for overhaul.
