Has anyone here ever built a watch from components? I'm looking into it but I've run into a question.
The case I want has the stem at a 45° from the standard place. Do I need a special dial? Or does a movement have different places you can put the dial posts? The movement will be an NH35.

I`m in the same boat and just learning too. From what I understand, you need to make sure the movement has the stem in the right place. 3 o'clock, 3.8 o'clock, 4 o'clock. Dial can be adjusted to what you need.
The store I'm ordering from does a good job of listing what goes with what. And the case in question says it's for the movement in question.
