Interested to hear what people think of this Italian microbrand. I absolutely love the look of their watches and the fact that their unique design language is so unified across their various models. However I see a lot of criticism of their business model (purposely limited production runs making them super hard to obtain) and the fact that they use bog standard NH35's in watches costing £400+. I've even seen people comparing them to MVMT and other overpriced fashion brands.
I'm curious to see people's thoughts and if anyone owns or has hands on experience of them?

I really like Unimatic watches, although I'm not a big fan of the limited runs that sell out in 10 minutes. On a positive note they do have a Permanent Collection that you don't need to rush to purchase.
Movements aside, the watches are well made with a great industrial look and feel and the design language is right up my street.
Looking at the movements they offer both Seiko and Sellita automatics and a couple of meca-quartz options. I think the prices are very much standard and can't really comment much either way (I guess I was happy to purchase a U1 with a Seiko NH35 so I couldn't have been that put out about the price 😉 )
Just got mine and it’s pretty decent
Ever since Watchfinder mentioned Unimatic a few years back I've been a fan - I think however its quite a lot to pay for a NH35 watch, this movement alone can be had for less than £20.
In their permanent collection currentlly is the U2 Classic at £400 with a NH35 , which looks great - However I think the more expensice U2S-MB at around £800 with a Selita SW-200-1 is a better choice and will hold its value better and look superb with the Coffee dial.
