I usually like watches made of stainless steel. But I'm happy to make an exception for this chronograph. ๐คฉ๐ The colorful and sporty dial and the 18k rose gold case fit together perfectly. ๐ฏ

Which one is your favorite gold watch?
This is my "money is no object" favorite...

I don't own a full gold watch, but I do have some two-tone watches...
I purchased the bracelet for the Tissot.

I like the Bulova the most. The turtle shaped case is super nice. ๐ข๐
TAG has been releasing some bangers lately!
Its really gorgeous in the metal! I saw one at an AD and it is such a stunner!

Because why buy a stainless steel watch, when you can pay 5-6 times the price for the gold one.

Yeah, this. I like the idea of some gold watches, but the cost can be really prohibitive. Even if itโs ~2.5x - which is multiple Cartier charges over the steel Cartier Tank Americaines for their gold counterparts - can make a watch go from โoh, thatโd be a nice buyโ to โmaybe if I got a huge raise?โ
The gold Glassbox Carreras are so nice. I liked the regular Glassboxโs a lot, but the gold case really completes the Skipper to me.

I can understand that gold watches can be cost prohibitive, but that's different from not "liking" a watch. I like the Overseas I posted above, but I will never buy one because of the cost. I still like it.
Love the Glassbox Carreras. Slowly working my way toward a TT or gold watch, wearing some Seiko TT's to see how they fit my style. For a water-sport watch, rose gold doesn't make sense to me. But then it doesn't have to.
The Sailcloth strap does balance it out a bit, and this looks very good from the pics you posted.

I like them as well, but in stainless steel. I just dont like full gold watches in generall.

Or doesnt wear gold for religious reasons
Iโve been wanting a gold watch for awhile now! Not full gold (might be a little much for me for now). Very beautiful watch!
I like both all gold variations of the Glassbox design. I think both are rather pricey considering the brand and movement. Also on the skipper that strap looks rather cheap and at that price point it should have a good deployant clasp ร la Cartier.
Killer piece. Would take it in whatever case material ๐ฅ
