New build just in time for xmas

Homage to a VC Overseas. Turned out pretty nice. I will be spend next two days regulating. I try for +- 2secs a day or better.

This has a NH35 movement.

Will be going up on Ebay in a couple of days. You are welcome to pm me with an offer. I would actually like some comments on what you think a good price is.

I bought a Specht & Sohne Aquanaut with an 8215. Only one I own. It keeps good time but the second hand is just a constant jitter. Not very smooth. I was really glad when I found the Overseas made for NH35.

That's awesome! I was just looking at that same case and bracelet yesterday. But I've spent WAY to much recently, so I'm hoping to get to one in after New Years

Looks great! I like it!

Yeah…. That’s what I have heard so far… I love the nh35 so easy to play with but I like to venture on other movements so I can be bit versatile… I did do a Seagull St36 movement that’s cool to play with but not a fan of their movement esp the a wheel can jump out at you when over wound lol…

Yeah the ST36 is a very different animal if you are used to an NH35. The NH35 is more complicated, but it's set up in a very logical way. There is almost only one way you can take it apart and put it back together.

With the ST36 you have to coax the entire wheeltrain back into position during reassembly. Also, I didn't find much lube on my ST36 when it arrived. And you end up with a really big watch.

How do you like the 8215?

It’s different … I’m used to just popping the the dial legs to the holes with 8215 you slide the legs then use the screw to keep it in place another pain in the butt to just keep the dial in place … but so far not bad it’s a very slim movement so that’s a good thing and so far it’s keeping decent time ..
