Dissapointed from various android smartwatces I was looking for a retro style casio watch and decided to look for info on yt. The rest is history...
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I am not sure... I remember myself wearing in elementary school (9-10 years old) sth like a casio f91w or similar. However there is a picture of me around 5-6years old wearing a colorfull (predominantly yellow) "kids" watch I cannot identify..
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
A couple... 2 watches from my father, two pocket watches from my great-grand fathers and a couple more with stories...
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Read more, buy less. Stay away from vintage in the beggining. Trust more your own taste and fellow Crunchers than ytubers and influencers. Stay away from fakes and replicates. Give microbrands a chance.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Marathon, Nomos, CW
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
It changes continuesly. But as a staple I would say a 36mm - 41mm datejust either silver or blue dial. Do I need to say why??😅
Anyway even if a was a milionaire I would never buy a watch that costs more than a new car...
