Here's the latest addition to the watch box in theory it should be the last instalment of the year. This is a vintage grand seiko 6145-8000, with lovely proportions at 37 mm some sharp lines and a very distinctive design identity, the so called grammar of design from the sixties. On the wrist the watch is a hybrid between a sport and dress piece, basically my kind of thing, the dial is of the sunray style with massive applied indices, there is a date complication. This runs with a high beat movement, you can hear the watch ticking! Someone needs a service. Overall I'm quite happy except for one thing I need to sort out with the seller around my redial suspicion... We shall see. I got an exhibition case back because I want to see the beast.
