Is it weird to change watches through the day…????

So before I’m put somewhere secure and safe by the watch nutter officials, do any of you also change watches multiple times a day?? I’ve taken to wear one in the morning, then change to G shock for the gym, then put another watch on for the rest of the day. I don’t have a pro watch wife, so this habit creates a multitude of faces and sighs, does anyone else do so???

Every day! Usually 3 per day, but then it depends on where and what I am doing.

·

oh yeah, all the time. I keep thinking I should challenge myself to wear one watch a week, but I seem to choose a watch that matches how I feel and I am apparently emotionally dysregulated.

You’ve made me feel far less daft… the raised eyebrows I get from the Mrs always suggests I’m an idiot 😂😂😂

That’s pretty much how I’m made to feel at home 😂😂😂

No, it’s not weird. I don’t do it but if you feel like, do it. In principle, it shouldn’t matter what others think, right?

I’m not normally one to give two craps what anyone thinks, but as I was doing the swaps, and the weirdness that it was met with it made me wonder… having said that, she thinks having more than one watch is crazy so what did I expect 😂😂😂

I usually change once every couple of days but my latest one has been on my wrist since Tuesday!

I wish I was less flaky and content with such a schedule. I’m impressed with your contented nature! I think I once changed three times in the morning 😂😂

Sometimes 3/4 per day, sometimes the same watch for weeks. Whatever takes my fancy 🤔👍🏻

Do you have any pattern as to what you’ll wear or is it purely I fancy wearing this now so I do..?

Nope, just whatever takes my fancy.

Been wearing my Seamaster for a couple of weeks. No pattern,no plan, just whatever. 😄👍🏻

Ooooh that’s a lovely watch…. Even id keep that on for a while I have to say!!

·

Oh yeah, definitely do this when I can. Isn't this true too not just when going through the day, but also when scanning IG or in this group and being inspired to swap your watch when coming across a photo you just drool over?🤤

·

When I’m off work, 3-4 watches a day 💪

·

I think most of crunchers do! 😂

And me among them for sure

·
TumblerTimeNx01

Nope. They are tools to match an event, activity, or whatever else you encounter in the day. Best tool for the job wins.

Well I’ve donned watch no 4 just now 😂😂 I nearly banged my dive watch on someone’s doorway and that was enough for me to get my mudmaster immediately 😂😂

·

No. Just took my gshock off and put my black bay on. Watches have different roles throughout the day. Most days I just wear one.

Nice combination there mate!!

·

I’m on watch no 4 already today 😂😂

Ha ha, #3 for me today so far.

Started with an Invicta Grand Diver, moved to a beater unbranded gardening watch for some planting, then an after-shower Shanghai mechanical.

I started with a Willard, moved to a tuna, then another Willard and after a near miss with a brick wall (the wrist not me..) my mudmaster 😂😂

Oooh I like that idea… do you take a variety of watch types in the roll? Say one chrono one field etc?

When ever tickles your fancy my friend

·

Yup, same here. Usually from work to home or when I change clothes…I don’t usually wear a watch in the gym though.

No watch at the gym? That’s crazy talk!

I’m with you there. I may not be able to see my g shock in the gym, as I wheeze and pant my way around it, but at least I know it’s there for there moments of consciousness 😂😂

How are going to know how much of your one minute plank you did without a watch?

·

Not at all.

That’s 55 seconds more than I usually do 😂😂😂

·

Nope. I do the same. Just my wife never notices.

Ahhh I can only yearn for mine to not notice… whether it be the changing of a watch or the arrival of that watch box shaped delivery, the reaction is the same. A long sigh…😂😂

Somtimes I see one in the case I have been neglecting and have to switch so I don't feel guilty...🫣

I’ve said almost word for word that precise sentence in a reply on this thread! I can be heard to say “oh I’ve not worn you for a while on you come”. Guilt for an unworn watch… this hobby is so funny!

I think it may be a humorous illness! 🤣
