Kept up with Tudor prices? BB58s for all 🥳

In recent months, individuals capable of affording Rolex watches have been dumping Tudor on the grey market, and due to the watch market being dead, the fair cost of a used BB58 now sits at approximately $2400-2500. Of course some pristine example may sell for more, but my point is, they’re now quite attainable. Similarly, the Heritage BB line is readily available at $1800-1900, and there were even AD sales during the last weeks of December that had certain SKUs such as the Ref. 79500 down at $1500 new.

I think reps and homages are pretty redundant at this time. I know that $1500-2500 isn’t chump change to many of us by any means, but it’s definitely aspirational and I’d highly recommend being patient. Of course, do your due diligence before purchasing a used watch and try to leverage a reputable reseller/registered grey dealer where possible.

Seeing blue BB58s for between $2,500 to $2,800 on bracelet on eBay is tempting lol. Huge savings

There are rep forums where people are "legit checking" to see if their $700+ fake piece of shit is from the "real fake factory".

I'll never understand someone with that kind of expendable income opting for a fake.

They go for even less on Chrono24 and WatchCharts (Reddit/WUS). I was lucky enough to pick mine up from a registered business grey dealer here in my country, but I see that US/EU grey dealers are a bit greedy with their markups given that they probably don’t pay a cent over $2000 for any examples brought in.

Literally… Homages under $300 (Chinese) and under $600 (Swiss Made) are alright in my books depending on what you’re paying for, but spending $600+ for a totally fake watch - to me - is actual madness. What spurred this post was that I received a video in my YT recommended about how to Frankenstein a rep Submariner for a total cost of $1900. I literally paid less for a Tudor 79540 💀. Speaking of - yours was one of the videos that sold me on that particular reference.

$1500-$2500 is such a steal, wow. I just might hop by a local AD and see which watch will find it's way into my collection, lol.

At ADs, expect a 15-20% discount from the $4000 retail for the 58 (still a good deal), but if you’re lucky you might get a clearance sale BB Heritage 36/41 for a bargain.
