Is it time for a revamp of the speedy reduced?

I’d love to see a speedy reduced redone with a reliable movement, auto winding, a sapphire crystal/case back, updated bracelet. The nearest option right now is the ed white which is incredibly rare, pricey, and still manual wind.

With the trend of smaller watches coming back, do think there is a good chance a new speedy reduced would be coming out in the next year or two? I know I’d be a buyer!

Love my Speedy Reduced and def worthy of a slight overhaul. Sadly I think the Speedmaster Racing is the model that they will continue to fill the void of the smaller Speedy

Omega is behind the curve on everything lately. The speedy reduced and midsize SMP need an overhaul and the time is now while case sizes are trending down. Their bracelets are bad and their clasps are outdated too.

Yet, this 75th Seamaster anniversary was utterly underwhelming. A simple dial recolor. Zero design evolution or correction to complaints the community has had for the past 15 years.

As an Omega fanboy, it has become quite difficult to justify an oversized SMP with a bulky bracelet since Tudor came out with the Pelagos 39 which is miles ahead comfort-wise, with perfect dimensions and a state of the art bracelet technology.

What’s the issue with the current 38mm Speedy?
