Eberhard & Co.

Anyone on this forum have any experience with Eberhard watches? Their most popular model, the Scafograf dive watch is in the thumbnail, but I’m specifically interested in the Scientigraf.

Eberhard is a Swiss brand that I investigated more than 40 years ago when I gave up collecting vintage watches was an old school watch manufacturer that produced some good looking watch models using mostly ETA movements at the time. Obviously not high horology but middle tier. My concern at the time was the absence of an agent for after sales issues such as warranty work etcetera.

Thank you! Not a lot of collector hype for this brand.

I own 2 of them....one is a newer Tazio Nuovolara....cool watch...racing style....the other is a Vintage 1939 monopusher chronograph with hunter case front and back....valjoux 23 movement...magnificent! I'll shoot you pictures in a day or two....

I own a number of Eberhard watches, including the Scientigraf. Fantastic watches, very popular in Italy but made in La Chaux-de-Fonds and/or Biel, Switzerland. The Scientigraf on the leather strap looks great

Highly recommend if you can get a hold of one. The Scafograf 300 special edition on the DLC black bracelet also looks and feels amazing

Thank you for sharing. As a scientist, I’m still very interested in the Scientograf. Being in the US will likely buy via Chrono24.

Go for it - it's my favourite of the four Eberhard's that I have👍
