Just got my SGBA465 yesterday! Love it!
Been watch collecting my whole life looking back at childhood pics never without a watch,I'm nearly 40 and I've owned and handled lots of different brands there quality and beauty can't be matched at its price segment,can't count for higher price tiers but 2k and under nothing better,oh by the way I love them 😂❤️
Love both of my Grand Seikos. The SGBX263 is a bargain in the pre-owned market. I picked mine up less than 6 months old for £1,200. If you have your eyes on a 36mm Oyster Perpetual but don’t have the cash, you should seriously consider buying one as an alternative. I have a silver dial OP & I honestly can’t see any difference in quality from an aesthetics perspective.
I bought the SBGA407G Blue Snowflake in February this year & it is without doubt the most beautiful watch I own. The second hand sweep is hypnotic & the dial texture is stunning.

No matter what other brands I am considering looking at or purchasing, inevitably GS winds up being in the running at some point. The finishing and attention to detail is stunning, and like John Mayer says about certain vintage Rolex, "Its invisible unless people know what it is."
