Average guy review

Well here is my review of one of my most favorite watches. Spoiler alert. I find nothing wrong with this watch and everything correct. I could stop here and just say, go out and get one but then it’s not a review. So here we go. First off, I don’t own one of every watch or claim to be an expert, just a guy with more watches then he should have and appreciation for a great deal. This is where I’ll start. I purchased this watch for $149.99 USD. Yep, that’s it! Now if this was a cheep Chinese knock off then it would be way way too much money, but if the $149 is for a well crafted tool watch, then you hit you hit the jackpot. Well, I hit the jackpot. As you can see from the above pic, I have the watch on a glow band from Deep Blue but I purchased it with the beautiful orange band. Both bands are made quite well with a thick but supple rubber. Just beautiful. Both bands come with the logo built into them and the buckles have Deep Blue etched into them. Let talk Lume. All I can say is wow. The watch has a beautiful full lined dial, which alone is gorgeous. Now add the glow band and you have a statement!

The watch wears a bit tall at 15mm for some but let’s look at why. 1000 feet of water resistance. Again, wow. Gotta say that’s about 975 feet more than I need, but it’s nice to have for bragging rights. This is made possible by the screw down crown. The crown is also protected by the case. We also have a screw down helium release valve. Wow, did I mention I only paid &149.99. The watch is operated by the Seiko NH35 which I find as very reliable. The bezel has a real firm clicking action with no back play. If I could actually find something wrong with this watch I would say I would have the bezel a bit bigger to over hang the case for grasping. Last great feature is we have a sapphire crystal and

A beautiful see through case back! I have a Marathon SAR (search and rescue) watche which I love, that have many of the same functions, but it cost over $1000 USD. Having said that, this is the watch I wear more often. Do you love dive watches. Then I would suggest you look at this watch. Anyway, I didn’t want to sound like a YouTube influencer but this watch makes me very happy. See next time!
