Sharing how my watch enthusiast journey started

I used to be a fit guy, even in law school. But after getting married and having a kid my fitness and health took a backseat for work and family. Since I’m in the legal profession its quite a sedentary job.

My wrist size grew from a good 7 in to 8.5 in. So my only 2 watches at the time, a Tag Heuer Kirium and an Omega Seamaster 200m stopped fitting my wrist.

My problem was that these two watches were integrated bracelets and the extra links were hard to come by. Sourcing from Omega was quite expensive too and they weren’t sure if they could get it.

I then thought that, for the price of a few links, I could get a new watch! Thats were it all started. 😂

After numerous watches and straps later, I’ve decided to address the elephant in the room and get started on my fitness journey.

Hopefully with perseverance I could get back to my old weight and size, and be able to enjoy all kinds of watches again!

So thats how I got into watches, and fitting into my watches will get me back to my healthy body again!

I've been trying to keep my weight down but haven't been able to. Too much beer and laziness on my part over the winter and need to lose 20-30 lbs. Intermittent fasting has helped me very well in the past but it's not for everyone. Good luck to you, brother. 🤝

Good luck. I’ve been working on losing weight with weight watches over the last 80 days and have lost 26 lbs. My wrist measurement hasn’t changed (still 7.25”) but my watch straps and bracelets needed to be adjusted for some lost weight. You’ll get there. Keep at it!
