Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I’ve had a Tagheuer 2000 diver quartz blue dial from grade school to high school which became my wedding watch. My dad gave me his omega seamaster pre bond as a college gift (birth year watch. He really dived with it too). And I stopped wearing watches around 2020 covid time as they didn’t fit me anymore. Then in 2023 I wore them again and my eyes opened up to all these amazing watches at affordable prices.

Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
My 1989 Quartz Omega Seamaster Pre bond 36mm black and gold. It’s my birth year watch that my dad bought when I was born. It was his daily watch which he also used for recreational diving. Its been through alot, more than most watches, and yet it still keeps perfect time up to now. I keep it mostly in the watch box and bring it out for special occasions with family as i don’t want anything to happen to it anymore 👌
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Save up for the watch you want. Sleep on it for as long as you can. Give it a week, 2 weeks, and if you feel pressured to buy, DONT.
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
My grail is the Omega Speedmaster broad arrow or the hesalite 3861. I’ve been into cars and motorsports my whole life, and likewise with history and space. The Speedmaster really is the confluence of my interests.
