Watch nut (obviously), cycling nut, walking and hiking nut, science nut (B.S. and M.S. degrees in physics), hi-fi nut, music nut, car nut, computer nut (have worked in IT since 1993), video game nut (mostly PlayStation with a little PC)
Some sort of Armitron digital watch from K-Mart when I was a kid, around 1980.
Q: What is one piece of advice you have for someone just getting into watches?
Don't worry too much about "in house" movements. It's a complex subject. Buy the watch(es) that make you happy regardless.
Q: What brands have been getting your attention lately?
Seiko, Grand Seiko, and Breitling
Q: What is your grail watch and why?
I've never had a single grail watch. I maintain a watch "wish list", instead. Right now, my two biggest ones on there are a Grand Seiko with a quartz movement and a Grand Seiko with a hi-beat mechanical (I already own a spring drive watch).
