It's an awkward price category for me. More than enough for a nice watch, not quite enough for something I would really want.

7k is an in between price so I would personally buy a Tudor black bay pro rather than an Rolex and maybe a Nomos (bit of German watchmaking). You will still have change and 2 very good watches rather than 1
