Do you agree with AI? A watchcolleting strategy and perspective

Hello lovely people of WC

Its your neighborhood ๐Ÿ˜บ

I had an interesting thought... I was thinking about collcting watches and almost went to the crazy place of owning watches from just one brand, and then even crazier , one brand for each decade of your life!

Then instead of creating a post about it , like a lazy degenerate I asked ChatGPT....so tell me if this stupid robot is correct , or suffer bad luck for the next 30mins

Would love to know your thoughts

**The First Decade (20s):** Tag Heuer - Known for its dynamic and sporty designs, Tag Heuer captures the adventurous spirit of your twenties. **The Second Decade (30s):** Rolex - A symbol of timeless elegance and refinement, Rolex seamlessly represents the sophistication that comes with entering your thirties. **The Third Decade (40s):** Patek Philippe - With a rich heritage and commitment to classic design, Patek Philippe epitomizes the timeless classics suited for your forties. **The Fourth Decade (50s):** Omega - Blending tradition with modernity, Omega reflects the mastery of both worlds, making it an ideal choice for your fifties. **The Fifth Decade (60s and beyond):** Audemars Piguet - Renowned for its legacy and exceptional craftsmanship, Audemars Piguet serves as the perfect brand to encapsulate your lifetime of experiences in the final chapter.

Given watch collecting is a pretty personal and emotional journey, I wouldn't bother with what an emotionless AI bot is spewing LOL

AI text is too vague, generalized, and non-committal. AI doesn't know how to form an opinion. If you ask it "what was the best watch of the 1950s?" it's going to look for watches that were created in that era, and cross-index it with a gross sales revenue chart. i.e., it's going to give you some blurb about the Rolex Submariner. But it's going to miss small companies with innovative ideas, and flops that sold well initially, but then fizzled out. It's also going to miss the obscure brands with a cult following.

TL/DR: The AI's advice is crap. Ask real people for advice on your topic. ๐Ÿ˜Ž
